This is 757's first week back open and they are kicking it off properly. This sushi hot spot is tucked away in Virginia Beach's 'beach country' on Seaboard Rd. They $2 domestics and $2.50 well drinks tonight for you to sip on while Kevin Mack is playing. A real treat if you have never heard him play before.

Tuesday night line up

A lot of good music tonight around Virginia Beach. Beach Street USA, despite it's name, has been having great live music all summer. Tonight the Hotcakes and Borderline Crazy Trio are playing the 7th and 31st Street stages, respectively. Both band go on at 6 pm and will play until are 10. The boardwalk fills up pretty quickly so get there early.

Jesse Chong is doing his usual set at Luna Sea at the oceanfront tonight. LS is serving up $2 Sols tonight as well. But get there early, because they will run out. If you are looking for some dinner tonight for that special someone, Luna Sea also has 2 for 1 fajitas tonight!!

Start the week off right!

Reward yourself for making it through another Monday tomorrow and head down to Big Sam's on the Inlet for $0.49 clams and wings. And if you are like me you will probably cover those clams with tabasco sauce but Big Sam's has you covered there too. $2 beers starting at 3 p.m.

Burger Bound...

Just found out that Sharx at the oceanfront is doing a burger and a beer for $6 tonight. Mix that in with pool, shuffleboard or electronic darts and you can extend your holiday weekend one more night.

Sharx is located at 21st Street and Pacific down at the beach.

4th of July

Happy 4th everybody!

Usually at VBHappyhour.com we give you ideas of what's going on or just flat out tell you where to go at night. Well today is going to be different, sort of. I will not be recommending any bars today. Instead I suggest to get some friends together and fire up the grill in true 4th fashion. The PoPo will be out in full force tonight with road blocks and traffic checks. So don't risk it. Go to a friend's, bring food, drink and a sleeping bag. Trust me, its going to be fun and probably less expensive. Fun is free, but bail, well that's another story.
